CHURCH COUNCIL Mission: To provide coordination of all church business and activities, create appropriate committees and functions as the church/conference/UMC liaison. To create a safe Christian learning environment where people can learn and grow in faith together; to offer a variety of biblical study opportunities for all ages; to instruct learners how to apply God’s teaching to everyday life and to help develop closer relationships with God and create an excitement for living a life for Jesus Christ. FINANCE Mission:To develop an annual operating budget; manage expenditures throughout the year to insure compliance with the budget utilizing various means; establish and maintain the fiscal health of the church throughout the fiscal year; provide short-term and long-term strategic planning; provide recommendations related to fundraising/out-of-cycle expenditure requests/unexpected financial obligations to the church council and develop appropriate policies and procedures regarding expenditures/accounting and other aspects of the financial management for the church. HILLTOP CHILD CARE CENTER, INC. Mission: The Board of Directors and Staff provide a preschool program for children age 3 through Pre-K that emphasizes the concepts of loving and sharing in an atmosphere of Christian values. The Center is a non-profit organization serving as an outreach in ministry to the community, while preparing the children for kindergarten in all basic skill areas.“…and a little child shall lead them.” Isaiah 11:6 Contact: Gerry Feild

HISTORY Mission: To provide a bridge from the past to the future, by updating our History booklet and presenting various programs to educate the congregation on how our past has affected our church and community. Contact: Linda Shaw

MUSIC Mission: To provide exciting and meaningful opportunities for members to share the gift of music with others in the church and the community. Opportunities include four performance groups; two worship Choirs (9:00AM and 10:30AM), the Handbell Choir (Hilltop Bells) and the Children’s Choir (Faith Fest Singers). STEWARDSHIP Mission: To provide opportunities to all church members to give the best of their time, talents and resources and to encourage members to be good stewards in all facets of their life. YOUTH Mission: To provide opportunities for youth to develop their faith, to grow in Christ’s love and share that with others.
