LLUMC is looking for a dedicated and energetic person who is passionate about the Christian faith and the formation of young disciples to become our next Director of Children & Youth Ministries (DCYM)! The Director of Children & Youth Ministries is entrusted by the Church Council and Office of the Pastor with providing an extension of the pastoral office to children, youth, and families within LLUMC and the surrounding community through discipleship and educational opportunities, support for parents in the practice of the Christian faith at home, and outreach to families not yet a part of the LLUMC congregation. The DCYM oversees the church's Sunday School & Youth Group programs, and leads teams of adult & youth volunteers to offer Vacation Bible School, a Summer Youth Mission Trip, and other family events throughout the year.
